Was Genya im Interview mit der Schauspielerin Chiyoko Fujiwara zunächst verheimlicht und von dem auch sein Kollege Kyouji Ida nichts weiß, ist, dass er vor vielen Jahren bereits persönlichen Kontakt mit ihr gehabt hatte und das wesentlich deutlicher als man vermuten würde. Damals arbeitete er im Personal des Filmstudios Gen’ei, eine kleine, wenig beachtete und unbedeutende Position. Zu dieser Zeit war sie bereits ein gefeierter Star und Genya ihr verfallen, schwärmte aber lieber im Hintergrund als etwas zu sagen. Dass sie heute sich nicht mehr an ihn erinnert, ist dennoch ein wenig verwunderlich, da er ihr Leben gerettet hat als etwas von der Bühnendecke sie zu erschlagen drohte.
