Schon als er jung gewesen ist, hegte Anotsu revolutionäre und idealistische Gedanken bezüglich des Samurai-Daseins und gründete früh mit wenigen Mitglieder einen eigenen Klan. Besonders das Verhalten seines Großvaters, der immer noch kaputt gewesen ist, von seinen Erfahrungen mit den Samurai, prägte seine Einstellung.
