Einen sehr schlechten Eindruck macht Ryuutarou Mine bei Tomohito, als sie gemeinsam auf dem Nina Lutz Musikfestival spielen müssen. Grund dafür ist, dass Mine nicht wirklich geprobt hat und daher aus der Masse als miserabler Spieler heraussticht. Nachdem Mine erkennt, dass er sich diese Faulheit nicht leisten kann, übt er fleißig und wird dann merklich besser, wonach er sich auch mit Tomohito anfreundet. Die meiste Zeit über konzentriert er sich ausschließlich auf seine Musik, weswegen ihm andere Sachen, wie beispielsweise das eigene Aussehen, nicht wirklich interessiert. Neben seinem guten Spiel mit der Violine sticht auch noch sein Organisationstalent heraus.
