Nozomi arbeitet als Detektivin, die sich auf Okkultes spezialisiert hat und wird daher von ihrem Boss auf eine Undercover-Mission an ihre alte Schule geschickt, die private Heiliggeist-Schule, an der es zu merkwürdigen Vorfällen gekommen ist, die auf rituelle Praktiken hindeuten. Sie strotzt nur so vor Selbstbewusstsein und ist fest entschlossen, den Fall lückenlos aufzuklären, wozu sie sich inkognito an die Schule begibt, die sie zur Tarnung als Referendarin einstellen. Durch Befragung der Schüler und Lehrer beginnt sie so langsam den Vorgängen auf die Schliche zu kommen. Sie scheint ihre Ermittlungen mehr als kniffliges Puzzle und Herausforderung für ihre Kombinationsgabe zu sehen und bemerkt nicht, dass der Job Gefahren für sie selbst mit sich bringen kann.
