Bei Sandra handelt es sich um die Tochter des letzten Präsidenten von Jamaika, der in einem Putsch sein Leben verlor. Als letztes Vermächtnis erhielt sie von ihm ein Gemälde, das sie eigentlich erst erhalten sollte, nachdem sie geheiratet hat; zumindest war dieses Bild als Hochzeitsgeschenk gedacht. Inzwischen ist sie mit dem Rebellenführer verheiratet, der für die Freiheit des Volkes kämpft, weswegen es ihr ein dringendes Bedürfnis ist, dieses Gemälde zurück in ihr Besitz zu bringen.
