Haranishi spielt den energiegeladenen und nie ernst bleiben könnenden „boke“ im Manzai-Duo FUJIWARA, wo er gemeinsam mit Fujimoto auftritt. Haranishi füllt alles mit ausladenden Gesten und Witzchen auf, worauf auch der Humor ihrer Sketche beruht, denn auf normale Fragen von Fujimoto kommt eine entsprechend abgedrehte Antwort von Haranishi. Er rühmt sich, aus einem Fundus von einer Trillion Einzeiler-Witzen schöpfen zu können.
