Der ältere Herr führt seinen kleinen eigenen Imbiss im Einkaufsviertel von Kamihama City, wo er gegrillte Hähnchen an den Mann bringt. Früher spielte er mal im selben Team wie Kens Vater, weshalb Ken ihn ganz gut kennt. Da er außerdem leidenschaftlicher Sammler von Baseballs ist, glauben Ken und seine Freunde nun, dass es die ominöse Phantom Thief Beauty Bat auf seine Sammlung abgesehen hat. Zumindest lesen sie das aus dem nicht mehr einwandfrei lesbaren Brief heraus, der Ken zugesteckt wurde.
