Kiyono ist eine von Tamakis Klassenkameradinnen und besonders wegen ihrer freundlichen und interessierten Art auffällig. Da sie selbst eine Austauschschülerin wie Tamaki ist, sieht sie diese gleich als ihre neue beste Freundin an und ist besonders an ihrer Beziehung mit Takuma interessiert, der Tamaki ständig nach Hause begleitet. Dass ihr Onkel etwas mit der Tamayori-hime zu tun haben könnte, weiß sie nicht. Sie hat keine Ahnung, was damit gemeint sein könnte, sondern interessiert sich besonders für okkulte Dinge wie Strohpuppen, von denen sie stets eine Menge mit sich herumschleppt.
