Schon als Daisuke jung war, konnte er sich nicht damit anfreunden, ein Junge zu sein, doch konnte er sich nie als Mädchen präsentieren, weil einerseits das Schamgefühl ihn daran hinderte und er andererseits angst davor hatte, von anderen nur Spott zu ernten. Erst als George für ihn ein Kleid herstellte und ihm sagte, wie gut es an ihm aussehen würde, konnte er sich einen Ruck geben; von ihm wurde er nämlich nicht verspottet und auch nicht wegen seines inneren Wunsches ausgelacht, was ihm die Kraft gab, sich gegen seine Ängste zu stellen.
