Als er von der Krankheit seiner Enkelin erfährt, ist er sofort bereit dazu, Unsummen für ihre Genesung zu bezahlen, weswegen er sich auch an Black Jack wendet, der als exzellenter Arzt bezeichnet wird. Zwar ist er der Boss einer großen Mafiafamilie, doch nimmt man ihm diese Stellung nicht sofort ab. Einfach weil er eine sehr lockere, freundliche und gesellige Seite an sich hat, die aber von all seinen Mitgliedern sehr geschätzt wird. Eine Gewohnheit von ihm ist es, ständig die Sauna aufzusuchen, in der es auch nicht heiß genug sein kann.
