Nachdem sie ihren Vater, Dr. Honma, verlor, zog sie bei Tetsu ein, dem sie auch in seinem Laden hilft. Er betreibt ein kleines Café, in das Black Jack liebend gerne geht. Als Kellnerin macht sie sich nach der Schule immer nützlich. Ihr selbst ist dies nicht so bekannt, doch weil es sich bei ihr um die Tochter des Mannes handelt, der Black Jack einst das Leben gerettet hat, nimmt sie für ihn eine wichtigere Rolle ein. Als kleine Schwester könnte man sie bezeichnen, nach der er ohne ihr Wissen sieht. Man kann sie als äußerst hilfreiche und nette Person bezeichnen; wann immer jemand mit einem Problem zu ihr tritt, bekommt man auch Hilfe von ihr. Sehr gerne wird diese Hilfe von Wato, einer guten Freundin von ihr, in Anspruch genommen.
