Kaito hat an Weihnachten Geburtstag und wünscht sich dieses Jahr sehnlichst, dass es an diesem Tag schneit. Er ist deswegen schon ganz aufgeregt, weil er nach Weihnachten wieder zurück nach Okinawa zieht, das zu südlich liegt und deshalb dort fast nie Schnee fällt. Er möchte das aber unbedingt einmal erleben, weil es ihm seine verstorbene Großmutter versprochen hat.
