Dieser Mann ist so wohlhabend, dass er eigentlich alles mit seinem Geld anstellen kann. Er kann sich nämlich Menschen kaufen, die bei einer so hohen Summe, wie er sie bietet, auch gehorchen, weswegen Politiker, Richter oder auch Beamte in seiner Gewalt sind. Dass sich dann keiner mit ihm anlegen will, ist dann natürlich naheliegend.
