Die freischaffende Journalistin hat Wind von unsäglichen Ereignissen auf dem Mitternachtszug bekommen und stellt nun Recherchen an, für die sie Tetsuo, Makoto und Inoue interviewen möchte. Sie streiten natürlich ab, irgendetwas davon zu wissen, Yuri kündigt aber an, sich auch noch in der Chefetage umzuhören, genau die Art von Aufmerksamkeit, die die drei gar nicht gebrauchen können. Weil sie mit ihrem Artikel nicht weiter kommt, entschließt sie sich, verdeckt zu ermitteln – ein mutiger Entschluss, aber auch reichlich naiv, denn einmal an Bord des Zuges, befindet sie sich in Tetsuos Territorium und ihre Neugier wird zum Bumerang.
