Eigentlich wollte der friedvolle und ruhige Amanto Hedoro, bloß ein Blumengeschäft im Kabuki-Bezirk aufbauen. Sein extremes, angsteinflößendes Äußeres steht diesem Ziel aber in jeder Situation im Wege. Ob es darum geht die Nachbarn zu begrüßen, neue Kunden anzulocken oder einfach nur Freunde zu finden, stets begegnet man dem grünen Riesen nur mit Angst und Schrecken. Er scheint es jedoch nicht anders gewohnt zu sein, da er die ängstlichen Blicke als natürliche Reaktion wertet und somit nicht aufhört, die Menschen in seinem Umfeld durch seine Präsenz zu verängstigen. Er besitzt einen großen Familienstammbaum, welcher genau diese Eigenschaften teilt und eigentlich nur darauf bedacht ist, sich an das Leben auf der Erde anzupassen.
