Tetsu ist der langjährige Schulfreund von Naoki und Ryu. Tetsu hat die meiste Zeit über gute Laune, wird jedoch auch schnell panisch und seine idiotische Verhaltensweise ist oftmals ein arges Problem für seine Freunde. Er ist total fasziniert von Ryu und seiner Yakuzafamilie und nennt diesen stets auch nur »Aniki« als Zeichen dafür, dass er ihn respektiert und selbst dazu gehören möchte. Doch auch wenn Tetsu ein netter Kerl ist, sein großes Mundwerk und sein trotteliges Verhalten sind oftmals Dinge, die ihn in gefährliche Situationen bringen.
