Als Tochter des Schuldirektors entwickelte Reika mit der Zeit eine gewisse Überheblichkeit gegenüber anderen Menschen und nach eigener Aussage ist sie es »gewohnt, über anderen zu stehen«. Da sie aber auch alles andere als dumm ist, fiel es ihr nicht schwer, zur Schülerratspräsidentin gewählt zu werden. Reika nimmt ihre Pflichten als Präsidentin sehr ernst, ist aber gleichzeitig der Meinung, dass sie diese auch zur vollkommenen Zufriedenheit der Schüler erfüllt.
Deshalb fällt es ihr schwer, zu glauben, dass es tatsächlich Schüler gibt, die des Rates des Vertrauenslehrers Toshikazu bedürfen und dass dieser auch noch alle Probleme perfekt zu lösen scheint, will ihr gar nicht gefallen, da Toshikazu ihr somit nicht nur einen Teil ihrer Aufgaben abnimmt, sondern diese auch noch besser erfüllt, als sie selbst es zu tun vermochte. Ihr Misstrauen gegenüber Toshikazu führt schließlich dazu, dass sie diesen gemeinsam mit ihrer Sekretärin und Freundin Ichiru ausspioniert.
