Bōma ist Vollcyborg und ein weiteres Unterstützungsmitglied der Sektion 9. Seine riesige Statur, die Slotbatterie an seinem Hinterkopf und seine roten Cyberaugen verraten, dass er hochspezialisiert ist. Genau wie Batou war er im 4. Weltkrieg bei den Rangern, bei denen er als Sprengstoffexperte fungierte. Oft begleitet er Saito oder übernimmt Rückendeckung für Paz mittels Einsatz von schweren Waffen. Zusätzlich ist er, wie Ishikawa, im Bereich Datenkriegsführung tätig - Spezialgebiet Viren und Virenbekämpfung, sowie extrem schnelle Herstellung von Viren-Antidots. Bōma ist wohl so ziemlich das stillste Team-Mitglied, der seinen Job mit stoischer Ernsthaftigkeit macht.
