Suzuos Mutter lebt auf dem Land und ist stolz auf ihren Sohn, dass er seinen eigenen Weg geht und außerdem beruhigt darüber, dass er zurechtkommt mit seinem Job in der Großstadt. Dass er am laufenden Band sich etwas Neues suchen muss, weiß sie nicht.
Mittels einer Manipulation ihrer Erinnerungen erreicht Kosuzu, dass sie tatsächlich auch von seiner Mutter für seine Schwester gehalten wird, allerdings ist der Effekt instabil und gewisse Ungereimtheiten könnten dazu führen, dass die richtigen Erinnerungen zurückkehren. So eine Situation entsteht, als Suzuos Mutter vor sich hin rätselt, warum sie Kosuzus Sommer-Yukatas nicht finden kann.
