Biki ist der junge Sohn der Nebenfamilie, die sich um Sui, die kranke Tochter der Hauptfamilie kümmert. Diese Aufgabe übernimmt vornehmlich Biki, der sie täglich im dunklen Schuppen besucht. Seiner Meinung nach hat die Hauptfamilie sie aufgrund einer möglichen Ansteckungsgefahr verstoßen - aus diesem Grund desinfiziert er auch immer das Geschirr und verbrennt die alten Augenbinden, da seine Mutter die selbe Sorge trägt. Allerdings ist das für Biki noch lange kein Grund seine Besuche einzustellen, denn in Sui sieht er nicht nur die Tochter der Hauptfamilie, sondern darüberhinaus auch eine Spielgefährtin und Freundin.
