Mei-shen ist sehr schüchtern und besucht die Kochklasse. An ihrem ersten Schultag wird sie von Layfon vor einer umstürzenden Säule gerettet. Seitdem ist sie in ihn verliebt, ohne dass dieser von seinem Glück überhaupt weiß. Da sie extrem gut kochen kann, verwöhnt sie Layfon mit einer großen Bento-Box, die sie ihm immer heimlich vor die Tür stellt.
Mei-shen ist gut mit Naruki und Miffi befreundet. Die beiden versuchen ständig, sie mit Layfon zu verkuppeln, was aber nie wirklich funktionieren will.
