Die Unterrichtseinheiten des Sportlehrers an der Misaki High School erinneren eher an militärischen Drill als an eine Sportstunde. Er setzt eisern seine Vorstellungen von Disziplin durch, fuchtelt mit seinem Kendo-Schwert (Shinai) wie ein Armee-Kommandant mit seinem Marschallstab herum und hat auch keine Skrupel, Schülerinnen und Schüler mit schwacher Konstitution Runde für Runde um den Sportplatz zu jagen. Kein Wunder, dass er ziemlich unbeliebt ist und es hält sich auch hartnäckig das Gerücht, er sei ein verkappter Perverser.
