Martine Shinoda ist eine neue Kollegin von Mikeman Seki, die gerade erst der Nachrichten-Redaktion zugeteilt wurde. Sie fand sein kitschig-übertriebenes Liebesgeständnis an Saki Kouno vor laufender Kamera im Gegensatz zu der Angesprochenen wahnsinnig cool und baut damit den niedergeschlagenen Seki unbewusst wieder auf, der schlagartig über Kouno hinwegkommt, als er realisiert, dass Martine eigentlich auch ganz süß ist.
