Sanae arbeitet als Dienstmädchen im Hause Telinger. Hier kommt ihr vor allem eines zu, tägliche Erniedrigungen, und der Herr im Hause ist dabei noch einmal eine Spur grausamer als dessen Tochter. Weil Sanae ein zaghaftes Persönchen ist, wehrt sie sich natürlich nicht dagegen, mehr noch, aufgrund ihrer Tollpatschigkeit, bei der hin und wieder etwas kaputt geht, sieht sie ihre Peiniger zum Teil sogar im Recht.
