Ins Curry-Restaurant von Yoshimis Vater kommen immer weniger Kunden, was ihn aber nicht die Hoffnung verlieren lässt, denn sobald er sieht, wie es den Leuten schmeckt, ist das für ihn das größte Glück und es macht keinen Unterschied, ob er einen oder hundert Gäste hat. Ein Grund für das Wegbleiben der Kundschaft liegt aber ziemlich klar in dem hohen Gebäude auf der anderen Straßenseite, dass dem kleinen Lokal das Licht nimmt, denn früher haben die Leute hier gerne draußen in der Sonne gesessen.
