Kousaka ist die Ärztin der Schule, in die Shizuku Tsukishima, Yuuko Harada und Sugimura sowie auch Seiji Amasawa gehen und hat dort zudem über die Sommerferien die Rolle der Aufsicht übernommen. Sie ist diejenige, die Shizuku die Bibliothek aufschließt, damit diese sich dann neue Bücher ausleihen kann. Zudem verbringen die Mädchen meist mit ihrer Aufsicht die Pausen in einem Raum. Kousaka scheint eine freundliche und lockere Person zu sein, die die Schüler der Schule zwar an gewisse Regeln erinnert, diese aber nie mit Nachdruck verdeutlicht.
