Die burschikose Rie ist Susumus Kindheitsfreundin. Sie lässt meist kein gutes Haar an ihm, weil sie seine schludrige Art überhaupt nicht ausstehen kann und sich fragt, womit sie so etwas verdient hat, ausgerechnet so jemanden als Kindheitsfreund zu haben. Auch sie wird von ihm hypnotisiert, wobei der Effekt bei ihr nicht hundertprozentig wirkt, weil sich in ihrem Inneren ein Kampf abspielt, dass sie sich einerseits unwiderstehlich zu ihm hingezogen fühlt, andererseits aber gar nicht fassen kann, was sie da gerade tut.
