Auf Hokkaido hatte Kyousuke als kleiner Junge Freundschaft mit einem Adler geschlossen, der ihm überall hin folgte. Letzten Endes musste er ihn aber zurück schicken lassen.
Damals noch ein Jungtier, ist Pii-chan, wie Kyousuke ihn getauft hatte, mittlerweile ausgewachsen und hat sich auf den langen Weg gemacht, Kyousuke wiederzusehen. Weil er sich auf der Suche nach ihm einstweilen im Schulgebäude eingenistet hat, hält man ihn für einen Geist, der in der Schule spukt.
