Auf der Suche nach Ryner Lute und Ferris Eris durchkämmt dieser Kommandant samt seiner Einheit aus Nelphan die Gegend. Gerade passieren sie das Gebiet, wo die beiden kurz zuvor noch Milk Callaud und ihre Einheit festgesetzt bzw. sie an einem Baum gefesselt haben. Auf der einen Seite die passende Gelegenheit für sich aus dieser misslichen Lage zu befreien, um wieder die Verfolgung von Ryner und Ferris aufnehmen zu können - was ihnen vom König selber erlaubt wurde. Andererseits fürchtet Milk die Soldaten könnten die beiden ertappen, weshalb sie so tut als wäre sie von einigen Sittenstrolchen (wofür ihre Kameraden mal eben erhalten dürfen) in diese missliche Lage gebracht.
