Rubrum gehört zu der temperamentvollen Sorte und deswegen brennt bei ihr gelegentlich die Sicherung durch, wenn ihre Schwester Rote sich mal wieder dämlich anstellt und auch noch stolz darauf ist. Auch in ihrer Funktion als einer der Pilotinnen der Red Snappers agiert sie des Öfteren aufbrausend und impulsiv und schimpft während des Gefechts wie ein Rohrspatz, wenn es nicht zu ihren Gunsten läuft. Genau wie Rouge, die älteste Schwester, hat sie ihren Stolz, den sie nicht herunterschlucken kann oder will und daher zur Sturheit neigt.
