Masashi geht zusammen mit Naota in eine Klasse und ist Teil der Clique um Naota und Eri Ninamori. Meistens hängt er jedoch mit Gaku herum, der ebenfalls Teil der Clique ist. Oft arbeitet Masashi als Lieferjunge, wofür er den alten Lieferwagen seiner Eltern benutzt, und obwohl er als Grundschüler keinen Führerschein besitzt, scheint es niemanden im Örtchen zu interessieren, was allerdings auch nicht nötig ist, denn er kann den Wagen durchaus steuern.
