Murasame ist das gefährliche Dämonenschwert, welches Shino einst von Riou bekommen hatte, um zu überleben. Dieses Schwert verbindet sich mit Shinos Körper und lebt in ihm. Murasames physische Gestalt ist eine Krähe, mit welcher Shino sogar sprechen kann. Er ist recht lustig und ab und an sogar etwas sarkastisch. Oftmals wird Murasame von Shino für Botengänge benutzt oder hilft bei Suchaktionen in der Luft mit. Ebenso wie Shino ist Murasame verrückt nach Fleisch und frisst es Shino am liebsten vor der Nase weg.
