O.D. ist Mitglied der Gatchaman unter der Leitung des Leaders Paiman. Zum Neuzugang Hajime Ichinose findet er sofort einen guten Draht, wohl vor allem aufgrund deren ähnlichen Persönlichkeiten. O.D. geht grundsätzlich nicht mit auf Missionen, da er sich scheinbar nicht in einen Gatchaman transformieren und somit an keinen Kämpfen teilnehmen kann. Dies scheint jedoch nur die halbe Wahrheit zu sein, da seine Kräfte zu gefährlich sind um sie freizusetzen. Anstatt zu kämpfen steht er den G-Team-Mitgliedern jedoch stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und hat für jedes Problem ein offenes Ohr.
