Keiko ist Klassenkameradin und Sitznachbarin von Kana im zweiten Jahrgang der Junior High und außerdem gut mit ihr befreundet. Sie ist ziemlich schüchtern und unsicher und lässt sich allzu schnell unterbuttern, so dass sie sich sogar mittlerweile für ihre perfekten Noten schämt, die Kana als »unmenschlich« bezeichnet (auf Keikos Schultests steht eigentlich immer die 100, also die volle Punktzahl). Wenn Kana mal wieder irgendein Chaos veranstaltet, ist es auch nicht selten Keiko, die unfreiwillig mit hinein gezogen wird.
