Man schafft es recht schnell, Ichikawa während eines Spiels zu reizen, vor allem deswegen, weil recht viele Individualisten in seinem Team stecken. Nichts hasst er nämlich mehr, wie wenn Spieler das eigene Team nicht berücksichtigen und alles im Alleingang versuchen. In solchen Situationen wird er dann Fuchsteufelswild und spricht auch sehr offen dann über seine Abneigung gegenüber den Individualisten. Er selbst ist als Spieler sehr stark, da er recht schnell und technisch gut ist.
