Viele haben keinerlei Vorstellungen davon, wie sich Kyousuke fühlt. Rie hingegen weiß genau, wie er sich fühlt, denn auch sie hat einen Bruder, der als Genie bezeichnet werden kann. Er ist nämlich sowohl in der Schule als auch beim Fußball ein Ass, womit sie nicht konkurrieren kann. Aus diesem Grund ist das Verhältnis zwischen den beiden auch recht angespannt. Eigentlich ist ihr Interesse am Fußball sogar vorhanden, doch schafft sie es nie wirklich, eine normale Konversation mit ihrem Bruder zu führen.
