Suzuki aus Tomokos Klasse ist mit Kiyota, Nemoto und Okada befreundet. Tomoko stellt über die Gruppe ihre üblichen paranoiden Theorien an, so dass sie schon gar nichts mit ihnen zu tun haben will. Ab dem zweiten Jahr an der Oberschule wird jedoch die Sitzordnung so geändert, dass sie jetzt plötzlich inmitten dieser Vierergruppe sitzt. Suzuki fällt dabei zu Beginn des Schuljahres auf, dass er vorher noch nie mit Tomoko geredet hat, was er nun nachholt, da sie ab jetzt seine Sitznachbarin ist. Tomoko gelingt es jedoch nicht, diese Chance zur Integration zu ergreifen.
