Im Schaufenster dieses Ladenbesitzers liegt jene Gitarre, die einst Itos Vater Gen gehört hat. Das Stück liegt dort schon seit Jahren und der ursprünglichen Preis von 3 Millionen Yen wurde mittlerweile durch ein „Auf Nachfrage“ überklebt. Ito bittet ihn inständig, das Instrument für sie zurückzulegen, denn obwohl sie es sich jetzt noch nicht leisten kann, würde sie die Gitarre eines Tages auf jeden Fall kaufen. Der Mann willigt ein, den Verkauf so lange wie möglich zurückzuhalten, glaubt aber sowieso nicht mehr daran, sie noch loszubekommen, da schon seit Ewigkeiten niemand mehr danach gefragt hat.
Er weiß im Übrigen genau, um wessen Gitarre es sich da handelt, und kennt Gen auch persönlich gut, hat ihm aber versprochen, über das Instrument Stillschweigen zu bewahren.
