Ryuuji Tomioka, auch genannt Tomio, gehört zur Clique von Kenji Yamaguchi. Er ist daher auch mit Issei und Masahiro gut befreundet, zu viert verbringen die Schüler ihre meiste Zeit. Tomio ist heimlich in Asako Natsume verliebt, wird von dieser zu seinem Bedauern allerdings zumeist ignoriert, da ihr Herz für jemand anderen schlägt. Als Erkennungsmerkmal stechen bei Tomio die beiden Piercings am rechten Ohr hervor.
