Blaze Dis und Klein Art sind alte Freunde von Raul von der Akademie. Sie haben ihren Wunsch, Helden zu werden, nicht aufgegeben, weil sie der Überzeugung sind, dass sie eines Tages wieder gebraucht werden. Um ihren Traum zu verwirklichen, kennen sie allerdings keine Skrupel und beteiligen sich an einer Verschwörung, die die Einsetzung eines Nachfolgers des Dämonenfürsten und damit ein erneutes Ausbrechen des Krieges zum Ziel hat. Dass dahinter hauptsächlich wirtschaftliche Interessen stecken, ist den beiden entweder nicht bewusst oder es ist ihnen egal, dass sie manipuliert werden.
