Während sich die meisten Mitglieder des Mushikari im Kampf eher auf ihren Grips und ihre verschiedenen Techniken, sowie Waffen verlassen, baut Kaina ausschließlich auf seine anormale Muskelkraft und ist gewiss niemand, der sich irgendwelche Strategien zuvor ausdenkt. Bis zu einem gewissen Punkt könnte man auch meinen, dass dies bei ihm nicht notwendig sei, denn er ist mit einem riesigen Hammer bewaffnet und kann durch einen einfachen Schlag eine Klippe zertrümmern und die Erde zum Beben bringen. Allerdings unterlag er später Kotori im Kampf und während seine Kameraden kurze Zeit drauf Kainas Leiche entdeckten, waren ihre Gesichter von Entsetzung geprägt.
