Gemeinsam mit Baba gehört Abe zu Shigeru Tabatas Beschützern und stellen sich Ogami und Toki in den Weg. Beide verfügen über besondere Fähigkeiten, wobei ihre tatsächliche Stärke unbekannt ist, da es schnell deutlich wird, dass die Behälter, die die beiden auf ihren Rücken tragen, sie offenbar mit Energie versorgen. Was sich in ihnen befindet, übersteigt jedoch alle Erwartungen. Dank seiner Fähigkeit kann Abe Wasser nach Belieben kontrollieren und formen. Dafür benötigt er allerdings auch eine Wasserquelle.
