An Oohara ist eine gute Freundin von Tomoharu Natsume und Takuma Higuchi und geht in eine Parallelklasse an deren Schule. Sie kennt Tomoharu schon seit Jahren und besuchte mit ihm zusammen die Mittelschule. An ist ein aufgewecktes, sehr sportliches Mädchen, das versucht Tomoharu dazu zu überreden dem Leichtathletik-Club beizutreten, jedoch ohne Erfolg, da er sich für den Chemie-Club entschließt. An ist über diese Entscheidung sehr enttäuscht, äußert ihren Unmut darüber jedoch nicht vor Tomoharu.
