Erzbishof Taulepton ist das Oberhaupt der Ulga Vereinigung. Nach seinem Willen wird die Gruppe Icognito um Elekpyle Dukakis damit betraut die Vermählung von Prinzessin Ecarlate und Lord Nabokov Jugglaburk zu verhindern. Zwar sitzt er einem Rat vor, doch im Grunde entscheidet er alleine über das Vorgehen, wenngleich die anderen Mitglieder sowieso meistens genau seiner Meinung sind. Taupleton ist nur schwer zufriedenzustellen und wird ebenso schnell ungeduldig. Daher zählt er nicht alleine nur auf das Können von Icognito, sondern hat noch einige Asse mehr im Ärmel. Sein Ziel ist nichts anderes als selber an die Macht zu kommen.
