Kirie Shizuma ist die Mutter von Aine Shizuma und die Tante von Reiko und Reishirou Saeki. Sie ist eine wirklich nette, fröhliche und fürsorgliche Person, die sowohl zu ihrer Tochter wie auch zu ihrem Neffen und ihrer Nichte ein ausgesprochen inniges und enges Verhältnis hat. Kirie ist sehr humorvoll und liebt es dummen Späßen und Theaterstücken zuzuschauen.
Der Tod ihrer Tochter Aine traf sie zwar schwer, da sie jedoch weiß, dass Aine an Reishirous Seite als seine Burial Doll weiterlebt und es ihr gut geht, fand sie ihren Lebenswillen zurück und versucht auch Reishirou und Reiko wieder Freude im Leben zu schenken.
