Kurogane ist die Asura Machina von Tomoharu Natsume und wohnt dem silbernen Koffer Extractor inne. Kurogane benötigt wie alle Asura Machinas ein Menschenopfer, die sogenannte Burial Doll um einen Vertrag mit einem Menschen abschließen zu können. Diese Aufgabe erledigt für Tomoharu dessen langjährige Freundin Misao Minakami, die ihn als Geist seit eh schon 3 Jahren auf Schritt und Tritt verfolgt. Kurogane besitzt außerordentliche Kraft und nimmt es problemlos mit anderen mächtigen Asura Machinas auf.
