Nonon zählt zu Satsuki Kiryuuins engsten Verbündeten, die den Schülerrat der Honnouji-Akademie bilden. Ihr sind sämtliche Clubs unterstellt, die keine sportlichen Aktivitäten ausführen, demnach also alle, die nicht in Uzu Sanageyamas Zuständigkeit fallen. Sie kennt Satsuki schon am längsten (seit dem Kindergarten) und behauptet daher am besten zu wissen wie sie denkt. Darauf, dass sie ihr vermeintlich näher steht als die anderen drei der „Elite Four“, bildet sie sich auch einiges ein – ein Ausdruck ihres großen Stolzes, der sich auch darin äußert, dass sie gerne auf andere hinabblickt und es nicht ertragen kann, wenn jemand über ihr steht (sowohl im übertragenen als auch im wörtlichen Sinne, Satsuki bildet dabei eine Ausnahme)
