Doran ist der Besitzer von Spa Island, einem riesigen Erholungsgebiet, in dem jeder Kunde von vorne bis hinten bedient wird, sogar Piraten. Seine Auffassung ist - solange bezahlt wird, spielt es keinerlei Rolle, wer der Kunde ist. Er scheint ein sehr freundlicher und angenehmer Zeitgenosse zu sein.

Allerdings ist das alles nur Fassade, so sind auf seiner Insel überall Den Den Mushis versteckt, mit denen Doran die Kundschaft belauscht. Interessieren tut ihn einzig und allein Profit und er lässt keine Gelegenheit aus, um sein Vermögen zu erhöhen.

Dieser Charakter kommt nur im Anime vor.
