Matcha hat eindeutig eine wesentlich gelassenere Persönlichkeit als ihre Freundin Azuki, deren Überdrehtheit sie zwar nicht wirklich nervt, sie aber manchmal zu spitzzüngigen Kommentaren veranlasst. Matcha schätzt ein ruhiges Leben und geht alles mit Besonnenheit an. Azukis Idee mit den Haikus gefällt ihr, auch wenn sie den Sinn dahinter in Frage stellt, aber das scheint eine Art von Spaß zu sein, mit der auch Matcha übereinstimmt. Sie hat übrigens ein leichtes Trauma den kleinen Bachlauf im Park betreffend, weil sie dort nun schon zweimal hineingefallen ist.
