Zwei „Dolls“ wurden in diese Dimension geschickt, weil aus der Stadt, in der Hiroki lebt, Geist-Signale aufgefangen wurden. Eine der beiden ist Lydia, die auch rasch fündig wird, allerdings in einen Hinterhalt gerät und von zwei Geists gefangen genommen und gefoltert wird. Sie besitzt wie alle Dolls eigentlich keine Emotionen, bzw. werden diese durch ihre Programmierung unterdrückt, ihre Peiniger kennen jedoch Mittel und Wege, diese Schutzmechanismen auszuhebeln und missbrauchen sie später sogar als Gebärmutter für neue Geists. Unter dem psychischen Druck verrät Lydia schließlich versehentlich, dass sie nicht alleine hergekommen ist.
